1.Where to place the coulometric karl fischer titrators instrument.
①. Keep it in a dark place, the indoor temperature is 5℃~35℃.
②. Do not install the instrument in an environment with high humidity and large power fluctuations.
③. Do not place the instrument in an environment with corrosive gas.
2.Replacement of silicone pad
The long-term use of the silica gel pad of the sample injection port will make the pinhole non-shrinkable, and the moisture in the atmosphere will enter and affect the measurement. So, the silicone pad should be replaced in time.
3.Replacement of dry silica gel
When the silica gel of the drying tube changes from blue to light blue, you should replace it with a new one. Please do not add silica gel power when replacing, otherwise, the electrolytic cell will not able to exhaust gas and the electrolysis will be terminated.
4.Electrolytic cell port maintenance
Rotate the grinding port of the electrolytic cell every 7-8 days. If it cannot be rotated easily, re-apply a thin layer of vacuum grease and re-install it, otherwise, it will not be easy to remove it after using it for a long time.
5.Electrode plug and socket maintenance
The plugs and sockets of the measuring electrodes will cause poor contact due to frequent activities. You should be wiped regularly and avoid contact with corrosive liquids.
6.Cleaning of the electrolytic cell
Open all-glass ports of the electrolytic cell bottle, and the electrolytic cell bottle, drying tube, and sealing plug can be cleaned with water. After cleaning, it is dried in an oven at about 80°C and then cooled naturally. The electrolysis electrode cannot be cleaned with water. It can be cleaned with acetone or absolute ethanol and then dried with a hairdryer.
Note: Do not clean the electrode lead when cleaning.
7.Steps for replacing the electrolyte(HTMD Coulometric Karl Fischer Titrators)
① Remove the electrolysis electrode, measuring electrode, drying tube, sample plug, and other accessories from the electrolysis cell bottle
② Pour out the electrolyte to be replaced from the electrolytic cell bottle
③ Clean the electrolysis cell bottle, electrolysis electrode, and measuring electrode with absolute ethanol
④ Dry the cleaned electrolytic cell bottle, electrolytic electrode, etc. in an oven not higher than 50℃
⑤ Pour the new electrolyte into the electrolytic cell bottle, pour about 150Ml (between the two white horizontal lines of the electrolytic cell bottle)
⑥ Install the electrolysis electrode, measuring electrode, drying tube sample plug, etc., and pour the new electrolyte into the electrolysis electrode. The amount poured in is as high as the level of the electrolyte in the electrolytic cell bottle.
⑦ Apply a layer of vacuum grease to all the grinding openings of the electrolytic cell (electrolysis electrode, measuring electrode, injection plug, glass grinding plug).
⑧ Put the changed electrolytic cell bottle into the electrolytic cell bottle clamp of the instrument, and open the instrument to the measurement state.
